Christy Ford, who owns Taigan-favorite And George with her mother Jan Roden, strikes again, this time using her creative talents to venture into the publishing world. In 2010, Christy teamed up with her friend Susie Matheson to create The Scout Guide, a city guide that highlights the best of local business in their beloved Charlottesville, Virginia. Christy was an accomplished photographer in New York before relocating to Charlottesville, where she and Jan opened And George. Susie was a successful blogger with a large following, highlighting the best of local flavor in Charlottesville since 2009.

I love The Scout Guide! I heard they’re coming to Atlanta and Chicago soon and can’t wait to see the books. The Wiley Brothers belts are fantastic – my fiance received one from his parents for Christmas and it’s just the right amount of rugged and refined.
